Will your new power conditioner help quite my tube preamp? When it is on and not playing music or when the music is playing softly there is a very noticeable hiss coming from the speakers. It seems to always be about the same whether the volume is high or low. I sit about 15' away from the speakers and I can clearly hear this constant static/hissing noise.
It is really bugging me and if your new conditioner will help, I definitely want one.

I doubt the hiss is being caused by your AC...it's probably a combination of noise from the preamp and too much gain.
