Well.....  For one, over 20 years of R&D.  When concentration on a technology is so intense and consistent, you are bound to have excellent results.  The “common” guys in the market have tried and failed to copy our techniques because implementation is as important as the technology that goes into our product.  We also have several patents.

More specifically, we have been able to take the lessons learned from all-digital amps (like the Tact millennium, with FPGA algorithm design and simulation) and analog Class-D using various semiconductor partners to create a very accurate and musical amp.  We tuned for sound AFTER achieving outstanding audio performance as measured on the bench.

Semiconductor wise, we use the fastest, highest current devices practical to drive the load (speaker) with authority.  As far as the passive components, we design custom components when needed instead of compromising with off-the-shelf parts.  Power supply wise, we believe that there is no replacement for a well designed and beefy power supply.  We believe in large transformers (like the 1800W per channel Cherry MONO ULTRA).  We believe in FAT traces on our PCBs, low gauge internal wiring, and fewer interconnects for a more direct audio path.  We believe in controlled impedances and ultra-low-noise design for a clean signal.

We also believe in delivering this technology to our customers at reasonable prices without cutting corners.  How do we do this?  By keeping our margins low.  We genuinely love our customers and realize that we would not exist if it weren’t for them.

Thanks for your post.
