Title: New to the Vintage Circle
Post by: chuckstereo on 26 Oct 2021, 02:37 pm
Hi Folks, I'm new to the Vintage Circle, but not to new to vintage audio equipment. I love all brands of speakers and silver audio amps, but Marantz's and Klipsch are what I invest in. I have a vast collection rock, prog-rock, blues, and country vinyl that I've carried with me for over 40 years. Stereophile magazines prescriptions has been in and out of my life since the '80s as well. Looking forward to spending time with reading different views and suggestion from the audiophile world. Thanks, Chuck

So, what a newbie to do to get at least 3 responds to be an official member? I could offer my restored Marantz 2275 that for sale on Norfolk Craiglist at a ridiculously low price?

Nice looking vintage system. What are the components and speakers? Gave away some of vintage equipment recently to my nephew who fell in love with it. Original owner of Dynaco A-25, Pioneer Silver Series int. amp, Dual 1249 with Shure V-15 type 3 and Early Rotel CD player. Believe it was 855. My first system from early college days, other than the Rotel. All was mint.

Hi, In my music room as pictured, I have the Marantz 1180DC, Cambridge Audio 651C, Vincent Audio CD-S7 tube cd player, Project Experience Turntable with Ortofon Blue, and Klipsch Quartets (the rare little brother of the Forte).
In my living I have the Vincent SV-237 integrated tube amp, Cambridge audio Dac Magic Plus, and Cambridge Audio 650BD Blueray player and the Klipsch Forte with all Crites upgrades. Thanks for the compliment!
