2" fiberglass duct board for bass traps

Will this work for bass traps on lue of OC 703 My friend wants to build a couple of bass traps and access to this for $60 a 4' x 10' sheets

If he's going to stay with a flat mount or even straddle a corner, he'll need to at least do double thicknesses to get 4" or you won't get much bass control.  The material itself is pretty similar to OC703.

Hello Bryan

Still have to call SPI and get a price on oc 703 /705 to see what is cheaper the duct board i can get local at hvac supply company in town spi is a 50mile one way trip not that i care that much. I planed on cutting 2x4' panels out of the material and building 4"thick traps with a space behind. I would like to get at least 4 traps in his room two on the back wall and 2 behind his speakers

Stick with the 703 or the duct board.  You can buy 6" of 703 cheaper than 4" of 705 and it will perform better.
