Hi all Audio Circle members.
Many of you Audio Circle members already know that I have purchased sometime ago a Bottlehead Crack headphone amplifier.
I did not want to put it together myself because of my bad eyesight, my not too steady hands and my clumsy fingers.
I went on Bottlehead forum to seek for someone that could do it in exchange of a few $ $ $ from and old man with a very limited budget.
I found some one that could have done it for me,
but he was asking 250 USD without any upgrades.
Out of my budget.
So, I’ve posted my problem on Audio Circle and some one proposed to do it for me with many upgrades to make the Bottlehead Crack headphone amplifier sound better.
Here is the unit completed.
Beautifully stained wood according to my hart desire.
Nice red fire truck color for the plate and transformer cover
and many up-grades under the hood.
An Audio Circle member by the name of Geary Lyons
(Nick name: gaylyons) did it for me.
I already knew him because he came to Vietnam and took a few minutes of his precious time to come to visit me in my showroom.
Don’t believe me, here is a picture of both of us.

Soon, he will send my headphone amplifier to my wife’s aunt in Chicago that is coming to visit us in the first week of April and it’s not an April foul.
Almost two months of waiting, I can’t sleep at night anymore, until I get that nice looking unit and I am sure, that nice sounding unit…
Last year, when I was looking for a headphone amplifier to be the perfect mate for my Sennheiser HD-650, I was considering the Woo and the Schiit Valhalla, but I am glad I choose the Bottlehead Crack, I am sure I won’t regret this long time investment.
