Hi,

Are the Vishay MKP 1837 Series 1% caps
http://www.rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/browse/Module.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1170756953.1042907648@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccadchfjkjmggcfngcfkmdgkldfhn.0&3220361168=3220361168&BV_SessionID=@@@@1170756953.1042907648@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccadchfjkjmggcfngcfkmdgkldfhn.0&catoid=-92608771

better than the evox rifa phe 426 caps
http://www.rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/browse/Module.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1170756953.1042907648@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccadchfjkjmggcfngcfkmdgkldfhn.0&3220361386=3220361386&stockNo=4147620&prodoid=1696738

both these types are available from rs components, I'm going to use these to parrallel electrolytics. The vishay's are more expensive and I've looked at the spec's for both, however cause I don't know that much about spec's can anyone tell me which are better? I don't mind paying the extra for the vishay's (they're 88 pence each, whilst the evox are around 18 pence each). Also what does the dissipation tangent mean? Is lower better? The vishay's give the tangent in a different format. I did notice that the slew rate on the vishay's was greater than the evox caps.

Thanks in advance
Raj
