The title cut was my dad's favorite. He was a WWII guy and as far back as I can remember, going back to the early 60's he would run over to the radio/stereo and crank the drums solo to the max, he loved it!  :)

He was getting into my music also, from Hendrix to Corea and beyond. Still miss him big time after 32 years.

Hope is well brother!  :thumb:

I am always lurking in this terrific thread and I am grateful for so many interesting and new (to me) releases to acquire. Thank you all!  :thumb:

I've seen DAVE PIKE posted several times, I think posted by ASIMOV, but anyone can answer:
I sampled "Pike's Groove" on allmusic.com which was their top recommendation and OMG!? He moan-hums worse than Keith Jarrett!! Very audible and disturbing. Is his tortuous moan-humming audible in his other recordings as well? If so, I am not sure I could block him out enough to enjoy the music. I have accepted Jarrett's and seem to block his out enough to enjoy his work. Not so sure I can tackle yet another of this sort.

ASIMOV?

Anyone?

won ton on - Understood. KJ's moan-humming sounds slightly effeminate to me so I just pretend it is my wife's voice, allowing me to easily block it out.

Brave soul rockad, from what I've been told that form of blocking can be hazardous to your health.     Hope all is well with the new digs & work.  :thumb:
