Hi All, just got a pair of these wonderful speakers recently and loving them.
They are currently sitting about 2.5m away from each other (driver to driver)
Due to wanting to shift the position of my component rack and Left speakers,
I might end up having a separation of only 2.2 to 2.3m, would this distance be enough?
They are about 1m from the wall.

I think the main question for you is, given the size of your room, what is the best placement/toe in? Perhaps Clayton can answer you, but it may be best to experiment. In my room (and according to Clayton's speaker placement guide on one of the websites) I ended up toeing them in a fair amount. I used a cheap laser pointer that had a flat edge that would make solid contact with the speaker edge and putting tape on the wall behind me, was able to adjust more easily without guessing.
The more room you can give them the better, and with toe in focus on imaging, good luck!

How far do you sit from the speakers? I set my Spatials apart( driver to driver) roughly 85% of the distance from my listening position. In other words, if my listening position were 10' from the front plane of the speakers, I would position the speakers 8.5' apart. (driver to driver) Nothing is etched in stone here, so just use this as a starting point. Also as already mentioned, toe-in will have to be adjusted to your needs as well.

Thanks for the replies, I have a smallish room..16.5ft by 12ft
speakers are roughly 8.5 ft apart driver to driver and only 3ft from the wall.
they are also about 8.5ft away from my sitting position.

Loving the speakers so far, but I am sure the upgrade bug may come calling
for the x2 somewhere in the not too distant future.

Yes, the speakers are toed in a fair bit too,
I was afraid moving the speakers just 8 feet apart might not be a good thing.

My speakers are about 9 feet apart. Toed in to a focus point about 1 foot behind my head.. Seating position is roughly 8.5 feet..
That's what I'm doing..

Mine in a 16' room. 8'apart about 8.5' from the speaker to my head, and from my listening position I can see about a quarter inch of the side of the speaker facing the outside edge. Hope this helps!
