Anyone been to a guitar show?

Is it a good place to see and PLAY acoiustic guitars? I know there will be a lot of hype and lots of electric guitars. I am interested in acoustic though. SO I am simply wondering if it is worth the effort to go to see some high quality acoustic guitars.

I haven't been to a guitar show either.  Did you go ?

Isn't there a Guitar Center in Charlotte?  I heard they'll let 6 year olds bang up the D-35's there. .  hehe

no I didn't go. A guy I know went and it was so-so. I think it is for trading mostly electric guitars and parts. For example the guys friend got a Fender neck.
