Need help choosing a modell
« on: 24 Oct 2004, 08:13 pm »
I have listend to the Omega Super BPS and they sound great, however they need to pleaced a bit away from the rear wall wich I cant in my room.
Since there are so many modells to choose from I need som help.
Since i have a big room probably 20 long and 13 wide i looking at some of the bigger speaker Grande 6, TS 33 and the Minuets.

My system consists of Opera Audio Reference 2.2 Audion Sterling monoblocks (pp 38w class a with KT88).

I want som bass output aswell althougt i am planing on using them with subs.

I listen mostly to rock and sometimes loud and among the record there are some badly produced ones so a shouty trebble is not for me.

Anny suggestions or differences among thew modells woud be very helpfull.

Thanks

John

Hi Johnb,

Thanks for your post. I'm really happy you liked the BPCs. They do need a lot of space in the room. From reading you post, I think the Grande 6s would be the way to go. They have a very well balanced sound, easy to place and not shouty at all. Thay also blend easily with subwoofers too.

Thanks again,
Louis

Thank you for the reply, I will try to listen to the Grande 6 when I visit my dealer next time, by the way are the rumours about a floorstanding modell true? :D
