This is the last pair of customer ordered speakers we will ever produce.

Ryan wanted a pair of BePure 2's in elm burl with a fireburst finish.  In the rush to finish before closing the shop, we shot our normal fireburst finish.  He wanted it more red (it is more red than the picture shows, but not totally red), but slowly warmed to the finish we shot.  Everyone who saw them in the shop thought they were stunning.  You can be the judge.

These were hand rubbed to high gloss as well.

Here is a close-up...

Happy listening Ryan!

Certainly a beautiful way to finish this chapter Jim. The new owner is lucky to have such a Historic example of your Craftsmanship. Best to you and the owner.

Stunning!  The eyes are really drawn into the depth of the finish.  Almost like falling into them.

Definitely a swan song send-off with one last freaking gorgeous set of speakers. If they sound half as good as they look (and I'm sure they will), that customer is in for a treat that will last a lifetime.

I'm really going to miss seeing all the pictures of new speakers coming out of the shop. I've really enjoyed this aspect of Audiocircle for my last 14 years here. I'm still enjoying my Songbirds daily since 2012, I hope they last a long time.
