Nevertheless this Genesis is mentioned more than once here, and I doubt very many people are aware of the other Genesis; I’ve been an active audiophile since the early ‘70’s and it never crossed my radar? Although “Arnie’s” Genesis may not have completely died, it came very close for several years around the turn of the century
https://www.humanspeakers.com/genesis/genstory.htmThe Genesis Technology company described in the above link was very well known during it's lifetime and I nerely pulled the trigger on one of their floorstander models, but bought the Snell's instead. It went out of business in or about 1986 and as described the principal of Human Speakers worked for them and purchased their speaker manufacturing equipment in the bankruptcy sale. The Genesis company referred to by rrbert is completely different and it's business model is a revival of the Infinity IRS speaker design. Both are inspiring stories of revival in keeping with the spirit of the thread, just different rebirths.
