Nice picture, Nathan. That touch of curve to the horizon looks almost like the real thing!

I really like this one.

I would love to see that framed and hanging in my house.

Thanks for the compliments!  :)  That curve is a little bit of lens distortion perhaps.  brj, yeah I think I take for granted how picturesque the lake area of my town is, but I tell ya, when I go out before dawn and watch the sun come up it's like a whole different world.  Not for morning people of course, but especially for someone like me who rarely wakes up before noon on weekends seeing the sun in the eastern side of the sky is a new and fascinating thing!

Zybar, there's an on-demand printing thing called Imagekind (via Flickr) which I am going to look into.  Framing and everything.  Heck, I'd be honored if you hung my photo on your wall!  8)  The original file would make for a 42x9" print at 300ppi, give or take.

It's a little smaller than the average human hand, I would say.  A big'un, for sure.

A concert outside of Oslo.
Check out the bars keeping the audience away from the band.
Its farmland you know. These parties can go down wild...
Play something Country...

Guitarist in the band Picasso. This guy could really play well! I was very impressed!
Shutter: 250, aperture F 4.0, exposure -2/3. I had to go manual! The cam simply could not get it right!
I'm smarter than the cam... yeah!  :D But really, the Fuji is actually really simple to use fully manual!
It does focus itself very nicely! The rest you can set, and adjust very quickly! It is very fun!

From a recent trip to the New England Aquarium in Boston.  These are from two different jellyfish tanks, taken with a Canon S2 IS with no additional lighting..

Why....its Eric Clapton... :guitar:

No, it’s not Photoshoped. The images above are really Eric Clapton shooting with the $5,000 Leica M8, with the lens cap on. Wonder why the shots didn’t come out? For all the money he spent on the camera, he could have shelled out a little for photography lessons. (via The Sun )

Heh, I've never done that, no way  :duh:

The peril of rangefinders. Anyway at least he won't have to wait for the film to come back to find out!

Oh, it's not a lens cap as it is just a really really strong neutral density filter! See, he was taking a long time exposure.  Without a tripod, though?  Well, they don't they call him slow hand for nothin'! :P
