I still not know if I qualify as audiophile, more like music lover who tweaks a bit. I'm so low budget it is almost comical.

Looks like your doing it right to me. Push-Pull / isobaric designs get real low Hz. and can be startling at times.

I'm in the Cleveland area. I'm in the process of making changes to my system, but have Von Schweikert speakers (sold my VR5-Annis, now running VR6 from my second system, upgrading to VR100XS). A get-together would be great.

I would like to hear my Lore's on some higher end amps and pre's for sure. I could only demo my "cheap and cheerful" system, though I have a Frankenstein cartridge that is pretty amazing I think.
