I have two Modwright cd players and things don't last forever and contacted Dan to see if he could look at my 9.0 PS. He graciously said sure but realizing it might be time to buy something new and asked him about any Elyse Dac's for sale and he said he had a Demo model. Sold,I bought it and it sounds uber. Not only that it came with a Phillips 5argys rectifier,I mean I unwrapped the tube I was floored. I paired it with a set of 6922 Amperex 1961 PQ triode tubes. I bought a SPIF diamond cable from WyWire,its connected to my pre amp with a pair of The Truth ll Darwin Cables XLR and I'm happy as a pig in mud. Not only that Dan built me a NEW 9.0 PS for my Sony 9000es player. Thanks Dan,its great to deal with an actual human who knows his products BUT also builds them. It was a pleasure and if you decide to Up grade the Elyse put me on the list. Also, Kristen is a keeper and great to chat to at Modwright.
