Danny or anyone else,

If this has been already discussed and I missed it, I apologize.

I have read much about how good the 8" subs can be.  I have read about how good the OB-5/7s are. 

What about an OB-5/7 open baffle top end mated with a 3 x 8" open baffle bottom end for a true open baffle full range speaker?

Easy to do?  Require crossover changes on OB5/7?

Any thoughts?

I believe that could work quite well.  I did somthing similar a few years ago, I took the top half of the OB5 and mated it with an OB woofer called the Augie, I really enjoyed this speaker.
