New High-Def Zone Website

Folks
As a proud SPTech dealer, I would like to announce that the website is up and running and as a promotion, I am giving away a Denon DVD player free just for checking out my website. Here are the details:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5871110155

This is the quickest way I could come up with to promote my website.

Thanx

I can't say I agree with the weird ebay tactics or the shotgun approach to posting but it appears you carry all the 'hot items' from Audicircle vendors...  Your site looks nice.

It'd be nice to know why you chose to go into business, the products you carry, and how long you've been in the audio business.

In fact, why not post more in general?  AC is more than a marketing machine, really!  It's like this place where people talk about audio and DIY stuff, and sometimes buy stuff!  It's fun, hope you enjoy it.

Hi Carl
Thanx for viewing my site, and I understand your concern, but believe me I am not marketing any product here, I am only promoting my website in the manufacturer circles who have trusted in me to sign me up as a dealer. This is the least I could do to convey a message that their products will be showcased in the utmost professional way the way they deserve to be showcased.

Thanx

I don't think that posting the same announcement seven times is acceptable. Please put one in the Market Square, and remove the rest.

I am extremely sorry if my post offended anyone. Here is the sole  purpose of the announcement and redirection to EBAY:

More poeple know more about Bose Speakers than speakers from Audio Concepts, Odyssey Audio or SP Technologies. Do we agree on that?

Everybody knows the Sony and Denon brand. I guess we would agree here too!!

The Projector listed on ebay is high-end and the only 1080p projector available under $10,000 and attracts the eye of mainstream videophiles.

I believe that the mainstream videophiles must be oriented to the Audiocircle to incite awareness about the Audiophile products that can become a part of their home-theater system too (Business Philosophy of High-Def Zone). And hence the ebay listing. But, in this fast paced life we must offer something for a service even it is as small as to check out a website, therfore I offerred a free DVD player with an upgrade opportunity.

But as a dealer for all the products that are discussed extensively at Audiocircle, I did not want "not" to give the same opportunity to the patrons of audiocircle who have been huge fans of these products over so many years. Therefore, I decided to post my announcement in all those manufacturers' circles who have signed me up as a dealer.

Again, lets be honest here, on an average, we probably spend 15-30 minutes browsing Audiocircle and that too our favorite Circle, and it would be very rare that someone browse through all the new posts in all the circles during a single visit and hence chances of all the fans of all the products that I carry seeing my post on a single circle would be bleak.

And if we look at it closely, I did not break any rules here. In the FAQ section http://www.audiocircle.com/circles/faq.php#33 , it clearly states that:

"Commercial posts, announcements and advertisements can be made only in Market Square, or, if the relevant manufacturer is OK with it, in the Circle of the appropriate manufacturer. "
I don't believe any manufacturer would have objections to making more people aware of their products. And I do have received about 15 emails so far for the DVD draw, and I am thankful for that and more people are welcome join.

But I am sorry again if my aggressive marketing tactics offended anyone.
Anyways, I did delete the posts that I was able to.

Thanx
