Interested in getting my first pair of Omega speakers, but being unable to audition one (and living halfway across the world!) is making the process a bit tricky.
Currently tossing up between a pair of new CAMs direct from Omega or, what I believe is a pretty decent deal, on a used set of Super 6 XRS Alnicos (for approx $1200).
Has anyone here had experience with both of these speakers and might be able to share their thoughts? Aside from the obvious size difference, is there a clear winner between the two in terms of performance? Or are they just wildly different animals?
Any input is super appreciated :)

Well, I've had neither. I've had SAMs, SAM-HOs, Super 7 XRS. I would put money on the Super 6 floor standers would outperform CAMS. How could they not, unless maybe in a very small room.

Give Louis a shout. He'll be able to provide insight as to each speaker's sound signature. My experience is with the RS5 driver only.
