HI guys which class D/T amp of around 15W Rms (25Wpeak) could I use for monitor speakers ??

I need brutal honesty(no coloring or warmth if it's not present in the source material).

I need super fast transient speed , flat frequency response , super low THD(less than 0.01 at 25W), SnR greater than 100dB, no hum no hiss.

Just brutal honesty, some amp which can show me when the source material is harsh when it is harsh and sound sweet when the source is sweet.

Some amp which can clearly show when a track was badly recorded and engineered , and sound good only with well recorded and engineered material.

An amp which doesn't make piercing sounds sound sweet. It should sound piercing when the material is piercing.

Price , around 150 Dollar MAXIMUM.

HELP PLEASE  :green:

For that price you'll have to go DIY. There are many options out there.

Much more power than your asking for, but a used QSC GX3 pro amp.  I got one used for slightly more than your budget ($170) on ebay.  With some patience you can probably get it for your $150. There are two on ebay at current bid under $85 or this @ buy it now:

For the auctions, Gixen snipe program is your friend.

Class B not D, 300W, "less than .05 thd", 100 SNR, no hum etc but does have a fan, which is reasonably quiet.  You can put it in another room if it bothers you.

I tried / bought one for a friend.  Ruthlessly revealing, definitely not warm / colored, super fast.  QSC is considered tops for sound quality for price in pro amps. Ask your studio / musician buddies.

Can't vouch for the sound quality, but Behringer has a class d amp new that's $189 w/ shipping that has a >100 SNR and a bit more power than you're asking for:

Just curious, what speakers would you mate this small/cheap/brutal amp to and why the restriction to class D?

The classdaudio.com amps seem very well thought of.

Also look at hifimediy T2. Absolute bargain. I have one, but have not hooked it up yet. Too many family jobs!

ClassDaudio all the way! May end up costing you more than $150 and well worth it. Regards
