Hey all... new here. Wondering if anybody has sent GR any KEF R3 crossovers?

I have a set of R3s and I really like them a lot but was curious if anybody has sent a set over to GR to see if anything can be improved with the crossover? Thanks!

Welcome to AC!  :thumb:

Unfortunately not.
Most of the modern Kef speakers we have looked lately at have almost not room to work in. (R11 and LS50 Meta especially)

They're very well braced for the most part, which is good, but it also makes doing work inside of them impossible. Especially fitting a new crossover into them.

The other issue is that the removal of the crossovers is a destructive process. They are mounted then glued onto pegs on the cabinet walls, often split into two separate boards.

Any crossover done for them likely won't be able to fit inside the speaker.

For reference here's the tweeter/mid circuit for the R11.
There is Maybe 3-4" between the brace on the left and the sidewall the board is attached to.

Nice pics, thanks.  I guess I'll leave them be for now!
