Title: Kismet Mono Cut Off
Post by: JMW73 on 23 May 2023, 10:44 pm
(Yes, I know, CALL Klaus!  I will if this is/becomes a serious issue)

Listening this afternoon, no one home, so very loud (90-92db).  Started a song that starts with a big bass hit.  Immediately, my left side cut out and I quickly narrowed it down to the amp.  Even with music turned down, there was a buzz/hum coming from the speaker.  Turned the amp off and back on and it was fine.  Even did some loud listening again.  Any ideas on what is going on?  It's never happened before.  Amps were just barely warm to the touch after the listening session.

Have you checked to see if one of the fuses has blown?  I'd open and check inside.

I haven't because it came right back after power cycling, and it hasn't happened again.
