MTM or not

I am not questioning the design, but would the NX Studio perform even better as a MTM?  I see the X Statik and NX Otica are of that design.  But, I know those tow are of completely different designs being open baffle.  Just wondering.

The NX Studio is designed for nearfield listening so an MTM would not have time to integrate.  The other speakers are for mid-field to far-field listening so an MTM works well.

The NX-Studio relies on being able to deflect the backwave from the tweeter upward so that it can still achieve the open baffle sound presentation while being placed fairly close to the wall behind them.
