Very good condition Parasound Halo A21 amplifier.
Many many rave reviews on this audiophile quality John Curl designed 250 watt beast. It drove my moderately inefficient Vandersteen 2ce Sig IIs with ease, and imparted fantastic bass control, very smooth highs, and just the right amount of tube-like warmth and lifelike dynamics and sound staging. Find yourself a quality tube-based preamp and enjoy real high-end sound for a fraction of what other companies ask for. I had a Odyssey Kismet amp and this is equal and in some ways better in my opinion. A very musical SS amp!
And a nice little bonus is included- I put in an Alan Maher fuse ($100 value) to the mains fuse (power cord fuse). A real tweak upgrade in SQ.
There are a few minor scratches on the back panel where speaker inputs are located, but otherwise it’s very clean and functions perfectly.
This amp also offers gain controls for right and left channels on the rear panel, which is nice if you need to adjust volume or balance for different impedance preamps.
I’ll ship in original Parasound double box, with original power cord, 12 volt trigger cable, and brackets for rack mounting.
