The Path Audio resistors are ordered. Once they arrive I can start laying out the crossovers.

Were you able to find exact resistance values in the Path lineup, I'm looking at trying Path resistors in a new build, but 3.9 is the closest I can find to the current 4.0 Mills it will replace.   Close enough might not be good enough, any help would be appreciated.

It depends where in the circuit the resistor is. Another option is to make up 4.0 ohms out of two smaller values in series. Ask Danny which way to go for your specific application. That’s what I did.

I haven’t made it past the layout stage. Projects for myself tend to get back burnered :dunno:

Re: the resistors, usually parts are spec'd to be +/- 10% so if it's within that variance you should be fine.  In this case 3.9 should work well.

Anyone know how low the MTM's go? Also, what is the sensitivity? Thanks.

Down into the mid 100's and 93db sensitivity.

Mundy -- I realize it's been a while, but did you ever finish this tricked out crossover? If so, what were your impressions over the stock version?

Not yet. No time to do involved projects for myself. I keep hoping though.

Mike -- just checking in again. My friend has the MTMs, so we're quite interested in what you're doing.

This upgrade has been back burnered until I get caught up on builds for other people. There is a target date now though if I want to have them done in time to be burned in for the Lone Star Audio Fest the first weekend of June.
