Rythmic Plate Amp/Speaker Cables
« on: 7 Nov 2021, 12:09 am »
I've put together some Hi-Zoot cables for the H frames. I'm wondering if I should get into the plate amps interior and hardwire these? Thanks.

I’m all about fancy cables but I don’t think it’s worth it.  At least on my amps the output wires have like some kind of sealer where they’re soldered.  I just hooked them to jacks mounted on the amp box.  Now you could use fancy cable from the plate amp box to the speaker.  Still, from my research, with bass frequencies you’re not going to get much benefit from fancy cables.  I mean you can try them.  It’s your money.  I use Blue Jeans Belden 10-gauge 5T00UP for signal and 2-wire microphone cable for the servo.
