I see my Mighty Giants threw the Jets a bone and let them win.
Not every day you see a quarter back do a hand off to the opposing team so that get my vote for Trick Play Of The Week.

Maybe next year, he says.

Surprising win for the Steelers over the Rams.  The Steeler D is really coming into form.

Will Jason Garrett ever get fired or does he has some serious dirt on Jerry Jones?

Cowboy fans have been hoping for his departure for at least a couple of years.  The coaching incompetence last night will probably lead to his not being offered a new contract at the end of the season.  As far as dirt? No, Jerry was simply hoping to not have to start over with a new staff.

Training grown men to genuflect in his presence is very exhausting!

Was it me or was the officiating in the Packers / Panthers game a total disgrace ? Even Buck and Aikman struggled to hold their criticism in check.

So my home town team was doing great Thursday evening against it's arch revel, then with 8 seconds to defensive player Garrett totally lost his mind.  Before that it was a rather polite game for a Cleveland, Pittsburgh game.

Dallas fans are hoping for lifetime suspension... wait, wrong Garrett.  Nevermind.
Seriously, it's assault with a weapon.  He needs a conviction, and perhaps probably suspended sentence.  The line in the sand in the NFL is not clear, but it will be after it goes to court.  First, you have to find a DA in Ohio that would take the case... might not be easy to do.

I though that defensive pro American football players had to be rather smart to work out all the different patterns that they run. Yet long before the end of the game, the Cleveland defense committed 4 or 5 fouls almost back to back. In one kick, the defensive player ran the length of the field then was the first to touch the ball.

I was watching last night and while I still can't figure out what started it, Garrett lost it and went too far.  He has had emotional control (read tantrum) issues in the past.

I think we witnessed the end of another NFL career.

Indefinite suspension for Garrett, which even as a Steeler fan I find harsh.  A year, yes, that would be fair and would send an appropriate message.  Rudolph took it like a man and refused to file any charges, good show young man.  And I'm glad the league meted out the correct punishment for the other players, three games for Pouncey seemed right, I guessed he'd get four.  Garrett was wrong, absolutely and without question, but Rudolph chased him down the field trying to get at him through a Steeler lineman when he got hit with his own helmet, which apparently caused no injury.  Hopefully it will be reduced to something more appropriate upon appeal.

How bout dem Cowgirls !! did my heart good to see ole' Jerry Boy sulk out of his box Thur nite.

I assume anything less than a Super Bowl appearance and Garrett is gone, at this point that would be a miracle

Ravens are the real deal, that game could well have been the Super Bowl 'teaser' !
