Which version/label/year did you pick up? Monk's Music is my favorite Monk album which I have only on CD at this point.

Man, that sure doesn't LOOK like Anita O'Day. I have a great live album of her. Yep, got a story. I'm seeing Cannonball Adderly after Yusef Lateef joined the band which was super. Across the street at a club, Sugar Hill, Carmen McRae is appearing. At the conclusion of a tune, a lady seated behind me says "Yeah, Cannon". I didn't have to look. I'd know that voice anywhere.
