Written by Mike Cross and joyously recorded by Bryan Bowers circa 1980. How come nobody does anything like this these days? Is it out there ? Am I missing out?

There's lots of good Celtic/folk music out there with that kind humorous theme; drinking music has a lot of that. Australian "The Bushwackers" and Canadian "Tanglefoot" folk music often has subdued or off-color humor. True, too of maritime music. :thumb:
Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, The Wild Colonial Boys, The Fureys and Davey Arthur, humor usually associated with a pub setting.

If anyone can recommend any groups or singer songwriters in those genres, please do.
