Hey Arthur, thanks for the memories.Those 2 Stanley Clarke albums plus Journey To Love were my early fusion jazz buys. Love them all. Dave Brubeck---Time Out was my first jazz album. Still sounds sweet some 50 years after buying it when I was in high school. Who says vinyl doesn't last?Now, I have to add Marcus Miller, Brian Bromberg, Jaco Pastorius, Christian McBride, and Victor Wooten to the bass party. Just some of my favorites.Bob
Miles Davis – Kind Of BlueIn response to AD's prodding I was going to put on Modern Man, but the web is abuzz with the fact that today marks the 60th anniversary of the start of the KoB recording sessions. Reason enough to put it on.Since I haven't played this under current system configuration was going to root out the MoFi version, but the Legacy pressing Jerome sent me a few years back was on the mantel, so its now spinning. Damn, this sounds good!
