New to the clud

I made a music streamer based on Raspberry Pi 4 with a excellent DAC and a very stable DC power supply. My surround system is fine for movies but lacks a lot for really enjoying music.
Hence, the search for a good stereo system started.

Next to a speaker system will be an amplifier. Solid state or tube? I am drooling over the GATO AMP150.

Why not consider active monitors?  Let the manufacturer match the amp to the loudspeaker (each driver).  Gain the advantages of direct connection between each amp and driver and using a much more sophisticated low voltage crossover.  No speaker cables to buy or fret over.  Less clutter.

Kali builds excellent and affordable 3-way coaxial/waveguide $349 each IN-5 and $399 each IN-8 monitors.
