Here is one for you audiofools.  :thumb:

They claim to make the best speakers on the planet. Anyone hear these things?

You DIYers, can you guess at the drivers used? Obviously pro drivers.

Wind Chaser

Box and manual not included, so how do they ship, in a white van?

YG Acoustics will be sending a letter to SerTech. YG has the best speakers on the planet. Just ask their ad agency.

TomS

Maybe they include a free set of knives and lettuce chopper too

Some points that caught my eye:

- Extended high frequency gives smoother harmonic balance and faster transit response
Good, I hate it when the bus or subway is late

- Custom pre-built cabinets
So it's not a kit?

 - Bi-wire and bi-amp capable, no external crossover required
Is an external crossover normally required for bi-wiring?

Foolish is more like it ... from all those silly postings, it seems pretty obvious not one of those guys has even heard the product!

For years I thought my Wilson Watt Puppies were the greatest. Hah!  After I auditioned
the Stellar XII, I bought a pair and sold my Wilsons a week later.

Before posting any more nonsense, go hear the Stellar XII for yourself.
Meanwhile, see their website www.sertechlabs.com and read some of their
customer testimonials.

  • The elephant normally IS the room
The image on the home page shows two front tweeters for the Stellar XII, but the rest of the site shows three?

Can't imagine how poor the lateral midrange response would be with that horn oriented vertically.

A great speaker if you're buying based on vendor specifications and testimonies of unknown individuals alone.

Order placed!  Used my Monoprice Mastercard.

Good specs. nice to see a full range speaker 20Hz to 40,000Hz for a fair price [ $6200]. Hmmm 100db sensitivity as well. Which is great for tube lovers. A nice feature id adjustable tweeter and mid.
Would be interested to hear them.

Meh...

For that price, might as well look into Klipsch Jubilees :)

I know a bunch of speakers that would contest that "most efficient" claim ;)

Wayner

I can't hear 40K hz, but the neighbor's dog can. Do they have speakers that go to 20K for 1/2 the price? What a day, best speakers in the world, best audio cables in the world. Who would ever figure?
