What Hugh said, I'm his friend and your customer.

Ruben, your work is FANTASTIC! ! ! Im 44yrs old and Ive been a "Professional" cabinet builder for 24 of those yrs and I know everyone here loves your work as they should, but speaking from one pro to another I for one truly under stand how and what you do and the trouble you have to go through to produce a product that looks like yours, and my hat is off to you because my friend... what you do, you do very , very well ! I always like to give credit where credit is due. Thanks for all your great pix. Randall Kepley

P.S. by the way are those your LS's ? If so did you do the maple enclousers? The finish looks like your work.  :thumb:

Thanks Randall.

No, the Maple LS's aren't my work, those were made in China for AV123.

I built the Metallic Black LS-9's above them. :D

Beautiful, Ruben.  How are these attached to existing speakers?

Beautiful, Ruben.  How are these attached to existing speakers?

Thank you, Sir! :D

They attach via threaded inserts and 1/4" x 2 1/2" screws.

Here are the steps:

(1) Flip the enclosures upside down.
(2) Remove the original bases.
(3) Transfer the hole pattern from the new bases onto the underside of the enclosure.
(4) Drill for the threaded inserts and screw them in.
(5) Attach the new bases.
(6) Flip 'em back over and admire the new look! :thumb:

Nah, you were only off by 25-75lbs.

The enclosure alone is about 150lbs.
