Did S2.44 2020-09-24 just screw up my BOT-1?

Did firmware ....21  just the other day and after months of no meta data look up I burned a CD.  Came in today to do some more and noticed another firmware update (24).  Applied that and now my BOT-1 fails to register with the BDP Pi.
