Title: Adding STA9 to A300
Post by: Kid A on 27 Apr 2024, 05:14 pm
Dear all,
I have the A300 and have the possibility to buy the STA9 at a fair discount. My question is, what difference would adding the STA9 make? Improvement? Sonic difference? I also use the NAD D3020 v2 which would get a taste of the STA9 if purchased. I would appreciate your advice, thanks!

Welcome to AC.

Do you mean the Nuprime  Omnia A300 and Nuprime STA9?

If so, you should post your question in the Nuprime Circle. I own an A300, but I suspect there is no reason to combine the two. The A300 is already an integrated amp with more power than the STA9. They may sound different. It’s possible that there’s no way to bypass the A300’s internal amp anyway (just speculation).
