Hey!

This documentary was in theater last year. A great watch for anyone, especially for those into photography. I had a chance to see exhibit of his B&W photos a few years back at the Met museum here in NYC. One of the well know photographer in the so called "street photography" especially in the 60's and 70's. And of course he also famous for leaving about 2500 rolls of undeveloped film after he passed away. Whether you like his photos and his style or not it is worth watching.

It is available to watch online again but for only 4 days, you will need to sign up for their Passport. But they do rerun it on PBS channel and for view online without signing up from time to time. I hope this also work for those outside the US.

PS

Do check out other episodes on PBS site. You might find some others that you like. Here's one that available to watch without signing up and one of my favorite is about the painter Andrew Wyeth. I have seen his works in museums here in NYC, including "Christina's World" at MoMA and it is beautiful. And to see the story behind it in this documentary is really an eye opener and I'll never look at the painting the same way again.
