For sale is my Musical Paradise MP-D2 MK3 10TH ANNIVERSARY ES9038PRO Dac with ES9038 dac chip set. The dac is a giant killer and has been engineered to be best with usb input. The power supply was re-engineered to optimize the 6922 variant tubes, so no need for the Modwright mod for this dac. I really like the ability to change the sound with different tubes and the rectifier is significant. I am the original owner and purchased this 10/2018. I will be glad to discuss what tubes worked for me. Cap options are nice too. I used the Mundorf Supremes Gold/Silver/Oil or Audio Note Copper. We can make a package deal if someone is interested in the caps. The dac is stock with the 4x Obbligato Gold and stock tubes. Retail for this dac with the ES9038 dac chips was $1299.
