Title: BP26 remote codes
Post by: jaxwired on 3 Nov 2011, 01:37 pm
Hi,

I have a BP26 and need to program a universal remote to operate the volume.  Does Bryston match the codes for a more common brand?  What codes will work?  Thanks.

Hi Jax,

does your remote control accept HEX codes, if so send me an email and I will forward you the codes...

Rich.

Thanks, but nevermind.  Just found a Bryston remote and bought it.  Old style with just volume buttons.  That's what I like.  Of course it cost me more than I wanted to spend but such is the nature of high end audio...

If anyone else is looking for one of these old style Bryston remotes that just have the 3 buttons, email this Bryston dealer.  They have one:  audiovideoexny@yahoo.com

You can always check out this website. http://www.remotecentral.com/index.html for IR codes.
Do you have the software to configure the remote, as this is usually only available to URC dealers? The URC remote you are using, can be configured stand alone?
