Not Your Typical Audiophile - Listening
« on: 21 Mar 2021, 06:02 pm »
Gratitude for what we have in light of the potential for hearing degradation with age while our love of music increases. I found this audiophile's story particularly inspirational. Beautiful short film by Stereophile's Christopher Bell. Wonderful how they wove in Art Dudley's passing for many of us who appreciated his writing and the fun he brought to this hobby.  And yes Bob, I agree "Music is life".

What a great reminder of how incredibly designed our bodies and minds are. Similar to the healing process, one who has lost his hearing can learn to hear through touch and apparently enjoy music every bit as much as through the ears. Music is after all energy and we can learn to perceive energy in different ways. Beautiful! Thanks George for the video and the article.
