The Audio Expert 2nd edition.

It looks interesting, and I think for anyone in the sound industry, the $64 price would be a bargain.
It would be a money-saver, too, for any audiophile convinced by Winer's strongly objectivist slant.

I have the 2012 edition. It's interesting but I can't say it's earth shattering. But I'd already read other books and was a convert to room treatment.
The most practical useful book I have is Jim Smith's 'Get Better Sound':

And the best on the science of acoustics has to be Floyd Toole's 'Sound Reproduction':
