I had to have my 14 year old Greyhound put down in March....whenever I listened to music he would lay right across the floor in fromt of the speakers.

Greyhounds are great pets...adopt one if you have the chance

I still miss him everyday  :bawl:

Yep. The guy was actually bred (whelped) in Ireland and came across the pond to race for 3 1/2 years in Conneticut. We adopted him at 4 1/2 years oid. As greys go..he was truly goofy. He never did really great at racing because he wanted to play more than race :D

Great animals.

What a sweet pair - Buddy looks awesome :thumb:

Is Cookies the boss?

He could be if he only knew it...but Buddy inadvertently side-swiped him a couple of times with his wagging lab tail, and ever since Cookies looks up to Buddy as the Alpha. We call Cookies the 'little dog', because he follows Buddy everywhere and imitates him. Pretty funny.

It's hard to lose a dog. They come to us as babies and yet grow old before us. Here's one of my favorite poems about the loss of a dog from William Watson:

"His friends he loved. His direst earthly foes -
Cats - I believe he did but feign to hate.
My hand will miss the insinuated nose,
Mine eyes the tail that wagg'd contempt at fate."

Great picture.
A relative of mine has a miniature pinscher. The dog is great (after having "accepted" you).
Below are pictures (not of that dog, but the same race), one grown up and one puppy:

I've heard a ton of great things about that Clearaudio deck, and not just from pro reviews or dealers.  Great pic too, 1oldguy.

PS - Not to embarass you or call you out, but your quote should say lose, not loose.  Just trying to help a brother out.
