Active xover implementation

Active xover implementation

Has anyone studied this option for these loudspeakers? We know that the xover frequency is 600-700 hz, depending on the model, this as far as I could gather from reviews and specs.

It is certainly a second order xover. And we know that there are a few tricks in the passive xover such as notch filters or
Other phase related aspects. So, how would that be considered in the implementation of a xover using a dsp unit which has a lot of variables that can be used. Maybe it would be interesting to experiment with it.

Which speakers are you asking about?
Notch filters, EQ, Crossover types, etc. are all easily achieved with DSP.  It's much easier to get a flat frequency response with an active crossover, but it's up for debate whether it sounds better.
