Greetings from B&W fan in Germany
« on: 4 May 2021, 08:04 pm »
Hello World.
I live in Germany, and have during the pandemic started to restore old B&W audio equipment. I've been buying and listening to audio kit since my 20s, but instead of buying from stores now, I'm starting to get to know the kit I wanted 30 years ago... I live near Bonn, Germany and am looking to connect with anyone who shares my love for B&W.
Happy listening... Nick

Greetings.  I've had 2 sets of B&Ws in my life.  And not many other speakers.  I started out with a set of DM220s and have settled into a pair of Nautilus 805s (the bookshelf model) for the last 20+ years.

I have been intrigued by the open baffle speakers though and I'm currently building a pair of NX-Studios from GR Research.  I know, not B&W, but I think it will be a good comparison as they have gotten a lot of high praise.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome!  Still have my B&W P6s in a secondary system I bought new in 1997.
