I've had the Martin Logan Montis for roughly 5 years.  How would it/does it compare to the newer Spatial audio lineup of the M3 sapphire the X3 or the X5?  Would love anyone's input.  Thank you

I had a newer version of the Montis.  I have the esl 11a's.  I went to X5's with a Don Sachs all in preamp driving an LTA ZOTL 10 MKII amp and I just love it.  All rounded out with Anticable connects, PC's, and speaker cables. The finest system I've had and one of the finest I've heard.  I will tell you it was a toss up for a while but when the X5's opened up and I did a little positioning of the speakers, they just continue to amaze me.  I'm enjoying the music instead of analyzing the sound.

geerock - I'd imagine both speakers provide a holographic wall of sound.  How would you compare the bass response of the 11a's vs the X5s in terms of visceral impact while jamming out?
