What a confusing article.  The headline says one thing, then the first paragraph says another.  Then it goes on to explain itself.

Bottom line: Vinyl costs more than CDs.

Good article. He brings up a fair point that reporting tends to focus more on revenue vs. volume sold, feeding the myth that 'CD is dead'. Personally I'm snapping up CDs more often these days because, yeah, they're super cheap now. Inevitably the nostalgia cycle will come back around and prices will rise again as people tire of playing/collecting vinyl but still want that tactile playback experience.
