For sale is the Denafrips Avatar CD transport in great condition. It's designed around the famous Philips CDM4/19 laser assembly. A dozen ultra-low noise, precision linear power regulators along with dual oversized O-core transformers delivers clean power to the digital circuitry effortlessly. The digital data is reclocked via a FEMTO Crystal Oscillator. The AVATAR comes with a Master Clock input that allow you to connect the external clock to it. It comes with an aluminum, CNC-machined remote control.
Full disclosure – I place weights on the Avatar to prevent it from skipping during loud, heavy bass notes. The Avatar is 2 feet away from one of three dual 12” subwoofers in my room that sit on a floating wood floor, so you may not encounter this issue.
