X-On Wall Build Questions
« on: 9 Apr 2022, 04:18 pm »
Getting ready to build X-On wall speakers, what is a good way to clamp the angled wood?

With this ans the X-CS is setting Titebond Extend (slow setting) glue better than the regular Titebond?

I built a Encore X-LS today and I think I would have been better off with the slower setting glue.

I was taking so long that it became hard to put the top in after the sides were glued.   I am so green to this.

So far I built a set of LKG 2.0's and one Encore X-LS.
Original?

That should be a . , not a question mark at the end of the sentence.   Lol

Picture from the encore X-LS build today.

The top, front and back were difficult after sides and front went on though.

Did you buy the flat packs from Danny's web page, or are you having them cut yourself?   The flat packs came pre-assembled since they are a challenge to put together yourself.

I ordered the X-On wall flatpacks from Danny's website.   They came unnasembled.

I am going to clamp them down with Bessey strap clamps.

Built both X-LS, and a pair of LGK 2.0 cabinets.  I need to build a pair of X-On wall's, and a X-CS.
