Leads on new caps a little short
« on: 9 Nov 2022, 05:24 pm »
I'm redoing the xovers in a pair of Martin Logan Scenario's. The parts arrived, and I discovered the leads on the bypass caps are not long enough to reach the leads on the larger cap they are bypassing. The larger caps, a 330uF and a 100uF, are just to darn big for the short wires on the bypass caps to reach.

Has anyone run into this before, and what was your solution. A couple of ideas popped into my head, but I would still like to hear from the group.

Thanks,
JCarney

Just use a bit of extra hookup wire to extend the leads.

First thing that popped into my head. I guess I needed verification.

Thank Tyson,
