2A3 (EML solid plate daily; JJ as contingency) run at non-traditional operating point. I like it.

Moving to PX4: apparently sounds superb and looks really nice from the curves... other candidates (except AD1) seem a bit shabby in comparison.

Tesla EL34/Gold Lion KT77
Gold Lion KT88
Tung Sol KT120
Tung Sol KT150
All interchangeable in Aric Audio Super KT Push Pull monoblocks.

I have a Dennis Had Inspire SE High Output (17 watts with KT88) and I rotate between all of these same tubes except I use vintage Sylvania 6CA7 instead of Tesla EL34.

Four KT88 tubes in my Don Sachs Kootenay 120 amp.

I hope to someday hear some of the amps listed in this thread. As much as I love my amp, I cannot help but wonder what these others sound like with my speakers.

Using the stock Golden Voice KT88's in my Kootenay 120 from 2017. Ordered a quartet of Genelex Gold Lion reissues as a backup and comparison.

Sold my previous KT88 amp with Shuguang WE Plus Tubes when I switched to a full range efficient speaker but stumbled upon a great sounding 3 way speaker and have them paired up with a Luxman MQ-88 UC KT88 Triode Amp fitted with Black Treasure KT88Z; this amp is more resolving, holographic and transparent than my Coda 18 Watts Class A Solid-State Amp...

There's nothing like the sound of tubes when paired with the right equipment. :thumb:

I alternate between  Tung-Sol 7581A and Gold Lion KT77. Both have virtues.

I've got two VTA-70s in a vertical bi-amp configuration - the tubes on the woofer channels are different than the tubes on the mid/tweet channels:

- Nesstone EL-34/6CA7 on woofers

- Gold Lion KT-66 on the mids/tweeters  (as of 3/17/21)

EL34 in my Decware Torii. The treble is a little strong for me, but the amp has a treble knob that does a nice job of reducing it.

16 Sovtek 6550WE in a pair of Audio Research Classic 120's.  They had really worn out Audio Research labeled (made in China) KT88's in when I got them a couple weeks ago.  New tubes really brought them back to life!

Allnic M2500 with KR PX25 in push pull for 20W. Better low end than 300b. Plenty for my Daedalus speakers.

I'm looking at getting into a 300B for my Tekton Double Impact SE's..
I'm Still very new to tubes..
I own a Decware, Zen Mystery Amp and a Odyssey Audio, Stratos Extreem ++ amp...
They are both respectable amps, but I'm looking for an amp that will let me hear 90-99% of the music at VERY low volume levels (Between a Talking and a Whisper level ,50-60 db)..

Aric Audio , has my attention..
I'm looking at his Special 300b..

What are your guys thoughts on making this move towards ordering an Aric Audio 300b for my Tekton's..

Look atThe Boyuurange A50 MkIII s recently reviewed by Steve Guttenberg for 300B amp
