Interesting. Does that even include race series that you don't participate in?

Bob

Yes, sir, that ESPECIALLY  includes race series I don't participate in.

I will admit that I did try once to watch a Nascar race, on TV, and after a few laps I was sound asleep, and I did not try again--

My mom taped all (or very nearly all) of our drag races that were televised, and sent me the tapes, and I have them all, but have never watched one.

Maybe later--

Right now I'm having withdrawal pains because I am going to miss Hallett Motor Raceway's event tomorrow and Sunday, (that I want to run with my 2012 Atom 3), because my new (to me) used motorhome tow rig is not quite ready.  And I LOVE to run one of my Atoms on the road race track, fifteen minute sessions , five times a day, for two days, and do it twice monthly, weather permitting.  But here again, between my sessions, I don't watch the other classes run.

Eddie  :)

Thank you for the reply Eddie.

But if I may take the liberty of giving you task, would you indulge me and check out a few minutes of this.
There is a close course race series with car like these, but this isn't a race.
It's the "over the top playtime session" of one of the drivers.

I'd pay money to watch a "one on one" with him and his car versus an Atom.  :thumb:

Ken does a remarkable job with his cars and setup and driving-- what a fun way to make a buck!  I know from first-hand experience how cool it is to do something exceptional with a car, and get paid to do it.!!  Doesen't get much better than that.

Thanks for sharing-- Ercie (wife) and I have seen several of his video exhibitions, but we had not seen that one yet.  And judging from all the tire tracks, he gets to spend quite a bit of time doing that, whereas with my top fuel racing, I had only about 36 to forty seconds of drive time per race week, even if I ran all the qualifying runs and won the race by running/winning  every round.  This has to be a happy time for him, and no wonder 27 million views!

Eddie, thank you very much for indulging me!  :thumb:

As a fan of anything powered by a combustion engine, or anything that is fast for that matter, I love to watch all forms of "speed" and competition.

You Sir, are one of my hero's and I thank Danny for bringing you to us.
Thank you for ...... well ...... being one of my lifelong fond memories of "speed" and everything that it encompasses.

I would love to shake your hand someday.

If you'll come to Wichita Falls for your handshake, I'll throw in a ride in an Atom-- :thumb:

Thanks Eddie!

There's a forum buddy of mine (that taught me how to smoke meat) that lives in Wichita Falls.
If the day comes that I'm in the area, I'll do my best to arrange the meeting, and get you some great food too!  :D

Take care Sir.

Enjoyed re-reading this old thread since Danny linked it. Brought this video clip to mind.

I've watched that video many time. So awesome. I love the camaraderie between those two.
