Salk Silk Monitors arrived from Jim and team about three months ago. Monitors are used in my office for near field listening. Well broken in now and results are spectacular. Balance of setup is assorted Schiit components, Tortuga passive pre-amp, and Bryston 4b SST. The sound is fabulous. I am just a regular guy with no particular technology/audio aptitude but love great sounding music. The monitors are crystal clear without being glaring/too bright. Sound is great at all volumes but exceptional at moderate/high volume late at night when everyone else is gone. The room is a sonic nightmare but the monitors are spectacular. Some day I may put them in the big system (Maggies etc) but for my all day speakers they are awesome. Thanks again to the team at Salk. Best, Tr
